I like to do things in groups. Like two Greek carvers, doing traditional English pipe shapes, in back to back years. Two very different pipes, though. Have you noticed?
The follow-up to last year's Seattle Pipe Club carver is our own Robert Amundson doing a Danish styled Lovat. Robert's pipes are well known in the Seattle Pipe Club. From his early whimsical nosewarmers (incorporating the bale from Grolsch bottles) to some very fine traditional and Danish inspired shapes.
Detailed stem work and fine design, with a boxwood olive for that "cherry on top".
Matt thinks his work is spectacular and so do I and we bet you will too.
